Church Business Update - June 2026

Church Family,

At our next regularly scheduled quarterly business session, scheduled June 28, 2026, at 6 pm, the Church Council will bring motions to the session for consideration that will impact the church’s current bylaws.

Following Article VII Section 2 of our current by-laws, May 24, 2026, provides adequate notice of the upcoming requested by-law amendment as detailed below:

1. The Church Council moves that the church align the church year with the physical calendar year. 

2. The Church Council moves that the church amend the by-laws as follows: 

Article 8: Church Meetings: The church shall meet each Sunday morning, and at other times for the worship of Almighty God, instruction, and evangelism. Section 1: Regular Business Meetings: Quarterly business meetings will be held on the second Sunday in March, June, September, and December. during the months of February, May, August, and November. The Nominating and Committee on Committees will present their slates of ministry team leaders and nominees to serve on committees in June at the November business meeting. 

This motion will be voted upon during the June Quarterly Business Meeting on Sunday, June 28 at 6 PM in the Worship Center, 1531 N Vansant Rd. Clinton, MO.
