CURRENT SERMON SERIES
Faith: Under Construction

Week #1: Standing in the Gap Through Intercessory Prayer (Genesis 18)
What does it look like to pray boldly for a world that seems to be spiraling further from God? As Pastor Pat kicked off our new series, Faith: Under Construction, we journeyed through Genesis 18, where Abraham interceded for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah with boldness, humility, and persistence. His example reminds us that even in a broken world, we are called to pray for those far from God, trusting in His perfect justice and abundant mercy—ultimately revealed through the cross of Jesus Christ. May we respond to the brokenness around us not with despair or anger, but with bold, faithful prayer.
Week #2: The Long Shadow of Getting Used to the Dark (Genesis 19)
Have you ever drifted so slowly from where God wants you that you did not even notice? That is the sobering warning in Genesis 19. Lot was a righteous man who spent 20 years in Sodom, and little by little, the darkness of his culture reshaped him more than he reshaped it.
The good news? God's grace is greater than our sin. Even in Lot's worst moment, God rescued him -- not because of Lot's faithfulness, but because of Abraham's prayers. Never underestimate what your intercession is doing for the people you love.
Colossians 3 calls us to set our minds on things above. If there is an area of your life where you have gotten used to the dark, today is the day to turn back toward the light. He is already there, ready to meet you.
