CURRENT SERMON SERIES
Faith: Under Construction
This fall, we began our sermon series, Faith: Under Construction, as part of our ongoing Genesis Journey. Through the lives of Abraham and Lot, we’re exploring what it means to grow in faith, trust God through challenges, and remain faithful in a broken world.
Week 1: Standing in the Gap Through Intercessory Prayer (Genesis 18)
Abraham’s example reminds us to pray boldly and persistently for a broken world, trusting in God’s perfect justice and abundant mercy.
Week 2: The Long Shadow of Getting Used to the Dark (Genesis 19)
Lot’s story warns us how easily we can become influenced by the darkness around us, reminding us to turn toward God and trust in His rescuing grace.
Week 3: When Old Fears Cause New Failures (Genesis 20)
Abraham’s failure shows that even seasoned believers can fall into old patterns, but God remains faithful. We are called to recognize our fears and rely on Him to guide our choices.
Week 4: The Wait and Weight of Blessings (Genesis 21)
Abraham’s story teaches us that God’s blessings don’t always come easily. Faith means trusting His promises, surrendering what He asks of us, and pursuing peace with others.
Week 5 of Faith: Under Construction resumes Sunday, November 8!

November Wednesday Night Topic: Good News
